The Ur-Quan Masters, also known as Star Control 2 Remake, is exactly what it says on the tin: a remake of the classic Star Control, developed after the source code for the original game was released to the public.
In The Ur-Quan Masters your goal is simply to live an interstellar adventure where you have to travel through different galaxies and constellations aboard your spaceship, and make your crew carry out your orders.
During your adventure you have to face lots of challenges that you can solve in many different ways. Sometimes you'll meet representatives of other alien races that you have to negotiate with. Other times – and only when it's strictly necessary – you have to draw your weapons and fight. Ideally, in any case, your ship will survive for as long as possible, so it's better not to go looking for a fight.
The Ur-Quan Masters is a game of adventure, strategy, role, and action that turns outer space into your personal arcade. A spectacular adventure that all sci-fi fans will love. And possibly non-fans too.
